Terrible…
This series delves into the theme of sexual menacing as seen in art history paintings, drawing inspiration from my visit to the Artemisia Gentileschi exhibition at the National Gallery in London. Just as Artemisia reimagined biblical and mythological tales, I aim to craft my own story through a contemporary feminist lens. I seek to position myself as the protagonist of the narrative, injecting a sense of mischief and challenge into each piece.
